Building Skills, Building Dignity
We help women in our communities gain the skills and support they need to earn a living and stand on their own feet. Through self-help groups, training, and practical assistance, women move toward greater independence and dignity.
Why It Matters
Many women in the communities we serve are confined to unpaid work at home, with little income of their own and few chances to learn a trade. With a skill, a sewing machine, and a supportive group of women around them, they can earn from home, support their families, and find a stronger voice of their own.
What We Do
- Form Self-Help Groups (SHGs) that build savings, solidarity, and confidence
- Run free tailoring and skills training centers
- Distribute sewing machines free of cost to help women start earning
- Provide monthly groceries and clothing support for widows and vulnerable women
- Conduct awareness programs on women's rights
